We don’t have power in the Environmentalis Earth Day Everyday Protect Our Planet T-Shirt in addition I really love this senate. We do on paper, but Manchin and Sinema are both clearly using the Democrat label as just that, a label. They are otherwise in line with the republican party in terms of how they vote and the issues they focus on. It’s not just “thumb twiddling”, like, the republicans have terminally ratfucked the system, and we need enough votes to overcome a filibuster if we want to eliminate it. Ok that’s nice, but still doesn’t explain why the democrats have done zero to stop the ratfucking in the first place. what can they do? right now. not what should they do, but literally are able to accomplish. as above, without 60, the filibuster is still in play by manchin/sinema.

And what exactly are they to do? The senate may say it’s 50/50. But in reality it’s 48/52 in favor of the Environmentalis Earth Day Everyday Protect Our Planet T-Shirt in addition I really love this GOP. Executive Orders can only go so far. As much as we should hate Manchin and sinema, I feel like if they ran and won as Republicans we would be worse off because then we’d still have Mitch McConnell as Senate majority leader or whatever. I don’t know what their plan was exactly by running as the opposite party, but it’s shielding us from that at least. If the plan is to make democrats look bad / indistinguishable policy wise then we are running out of time before there’s another swing back to majority rule by republicans. It has links to direct quotes/video from the GOP backing up the title. If there’s another free article which everyone can view that combines these examples I’m ready to see it
