Also, motorola moto g7 power is still for sale, $100 bucks. Has the Enjoy the silence depeche mode dm shirt besides I will buy this largest battery life of any phone in history as far as I can tell. Also has a removable battery. Do check if the content creator has some way to provide them with funds directly. It would be a better use of those paid awards. This is what happens when competition is lacking and the structure is one that has monopolistic characteristics. What annoys about The Verge saying this is that these are the same reviewers that will compare a device’s thinness to the competition, usually with a comment like “a few mm thicker than x. Too bad it doesn’t get the thinness crown!” Or a similar Snyder remark. Designers (more likely the designer’s manager) sees the review and gives the design engineers a hard time about the thinness and tell them to do better next time. This results in thinner devices with smaller batteries. Hopefully we can come full circle with technology. Enthusiasts have been yelling for larger batteries and bringing back ports for years. I’m sure the majority of people would be OK with thicker devices if the battery life actually lasted a day or week AND they could expand storage, use wired headphones, etc. again. The fact that companies release wireless earphones and then sell you a fucking wired holder for convenience is beyond stupid. Unfortunately, the average Joe and Jane eat that shit up. BE SMART.

I mean, I’ve got a big ol’ hard case and pop socket on my phone. The thinness of my phone is just… not something I’m concerned about, y’know? Give me a really good battery. I’ll take a next-gen Galaxy phone that’s as thicc as the Enjoy the silence depeche mode dm shirt besides I will buy this old Nokia bricks if the battery will last half as long. This feels like an article from 7 years ago. Batteries in present day smartphones are great and that is the one thing that is consistently upgraded every new generation Edit: Don’t tell me they can’t have always on displays, good battery life and be thin, I have owned pebbles and amazfits. I mean my iPhone battery lasts me all day as long as I charge it at night, the only thing that runs my battery down before I go to bed is if I’m watching nonstop YouTube for hours on end. I also wonder if my iPhone needs to have such good specs. I don’t play any games so it’s a very powerful device to just use for browsing reddit, checking email etc. Longer battery life may be more useful. I think about this regularly. If we weren’t so focused on making everything small, couldn’t we see far more advances in technology? My second to last laptop purchase was amounted to a $300 “piece of shit”. It was in effect tablet hardware with a keyboard, full x64 4 core tablet hardware with windows, but still just low powered stuff.
