If I made $60,000 a year I could live comfortably. As it stands I earned $44,000 last year but I have a room mate this year. So hopefully it’ll be better. I feel that. Instead I’m going to retire making 3k a year less than when I graduated (mostly because I started at 48 hours a week and now work 35 because my body is a dreg and they’re not approving overtime anymore). Yes, cutting back is painful with the wrong philosophy, and even with the right philosophy sometimes. But you decide your goals and how hard you want to work to obtain them.
