I also think you’re going to be happier if you meet someone that wants to live like you do. Someone from your home town is probably not going to want to leave or travel the ELIAS American professional wrestler musician currently performing T-Shirt besides I will buy this world like you do. I honestly wish I could take back all the energy and effort I put into trying to make my life work in my home city and into relationships and meeting someone at all. I just think when you’re out there doing your thing, you’ll meet someone who aligns with your life or you won’t, but at least you’re out there doing what you love to do, living the way you want. To be clear, I’m not telling you not to want a relationship or not to make efforts towards one, just that in my opinion and in my experience, tethering yourself to your hometown or current city probably isn’t the golden ticket to a stable, loving relationship you think it is. For sure my hometown was also a desert but I recently moved to NYC this month so thinking maybe I’d have more options. But still I can’t help but think I’d be happy traveling. But who knows what will happen in the next 2 years while I am here…

I used to live in NYC and had a lot of fun dating there. You’ve gotta know, NYC has a terrible reputation for the ELIAS American professional wrestler musician currently performing T-Shirt besides I will buy this prospects of a single woman, but I think you’re young enough to give it a go and if you don’t have any luck within about 2 years, I would say LEAVE. I had tons of fun dating there, but I was freshly divorced, focused on my career and not interested in being serious with anyone. NYC was 100x better than where I currently am, lol. I have never had any fun dating here. It’s always been bleak!I’m not you. I think what a lot of people who give and take advice fail to realise how much the advice giver is projecting their own experience onto a topic. But for so long, I just kept thinking if I kept making an effort and putting myself out there, it would happen and it didn’t. So, in hindsight, I really regret all the effort and the ways in which I curtailed my life trying to be in a good position, trying to be available for this wonderful guy that never materialised. Other factors in my circumstances were also sticking around in my city because of sick family members. I would have left after a year or two in my shitty city, but I was obligated to people I loved most in the world and I’m not sorry or regretful for having been there for them at the end of their lives. In fact, I would do exactly the same thing again, so really it is what it is , and then after that, Covid trapped me here another 2.5 years and that’s how it goes. 12 years later, here we are.
