Totally agree, but those fuckers frown on it like it should get an immediate and final judgement of instant death. All because they don’t want you to know that Phillip Walton is getting $50/hr while you are begging for $15 because he’s related to or sucks the Edge Stacked Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this big phat rooster of someone higher up. Anyone who works opd from other departments (in our store) is considered “cross-trained” and gets what opd gets paid. Even if they only help once in a while. And they don’t even do or know HALF of what opd does. Tell me THAT’S fair. Depending on the region, some departments make more. The only ones that I KNOW have pro-rated wages are OPD and TLE. plus afaik other depts don’t have coaching for shit pick rates when called for help, or at least my store never coached the extra help when their numbers were low

Edge Stacked Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

but! i got out of it for a while cuz i learned to do fishing licenses and cover electronics and seasonal and when there’s no one to cover for me i’m opd excused Just make them regret sending you without ruining the Edge Stacked Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this job. Do it slowly and safely. If you don’t know something that’s not obvious, really take your time figuring it out and asking for help. “I just wanna make sure I’m doing it right since I wasn’t trained for this” as you take 5 whole seconds to make sure every bunch of bananas is properly faced. When I got hired on in orientation they told us if we were to get pulled and go work and that area we would get paid for the work at that wage . I work in the deli so I never got pulled but my co-worker has but he always made the same since deli and bakery are the 2 highest when it comes to base pay
