I wish they wouldn’t have pushed the OWLs off to a side quest. I mean we are students and this is one of the most important parts of schooling at Hogwarts so Easily Distracted By Books And Owls shirt seems odd to me that it is not part of the main quest. Especially since we have the option to not do it what will that mean for people who don’t do this sidequest and then finally reach year 6 (whenever that comes out)? Yeah, instead of that pranking nonsense, they should have included this as chapters. Would have made more sense.

Now instead it’s just wedged between pranking crap since we have more of that coming next chapter. Year 4 dragged at times but year 5 feels like a brutal slog in terms of story progress and random stuff to do when all they needed to do if they wanted padding for the cursed vaults storyline was just focus more on OWLs throughout year 5. Especially a time-limited one! Easily Distracted By Books And Owls shirt would work much better as a regular side quest or chapter so there’s no worry about completing this on time. I hate to say this, but my first reaction to the side quest appearing wasn’t excitement like it should have been, but stress over whether there’s enough time to complete the whole side quest in time.

Some of the side quests should be main quests in this game. They are all pretty big events compare to most normal chapters. The ball, becoming prefect, the OLW… like what kind of main character that goes to Hogwarts and not participate in the ball, or not doing the OWL? The ball being a side quest makes sense. You don’t have to go to the ball to graduate, and Easily Distracted By Books And Owls shirt does not affect the plot of the cursed vaults. Having school main exams as an optional timed quest makes no sense though. The story writers seem to be confused as to what a story is. I get the OWLs don’t advance the sorry but all I wish was that they be consistent.
