Look at your local utilities, a lot of wastewater plants around me will hire you on with no certs and you’ll have a class D in a couple of months. Yuuuup. People will say get into a trade instead o do pledge without actually knowing how hard it actually is to get into. Try bullshitting. I worked on a farm but didn’t actually do much other than demolition. Got me in. Fast food was a lot harder. If you can drive a car and do basic math should be fine Go join a Union. We take guys who don’t know anything and train them thru an apprenticeship. I’ve seen folks working at fast food joints now makin high 5 figures low 6. But know this, We want your time….Forget about that personal life. We got you 20 days on (12 hours working, not including travel) and 10 days off. You will be trained at the bottom… a worm you will be, until you’ve learned enough to earn a new nickname other than worm. The work is as dangerous as it gets.
