Reading the Drew Barrymore An American Actress 1975 T-Shirt But I will love this mediocre drivers in this thread makes me never wanna order door dash, the tip is after the service for shit like this. OP gave tip to this asshole for him very likely temper with op food He shouldn’t have accepted the order. I will say expecting someone to drive 8 miles for 2.25 is shitty. If it were me I’d left the food rotting on a counter until you got a refund. Would you drive 8 miles for 2.25? I’m not the one paying him $2.25? I tipped him in addition to what DoorDash gives as a minimum, that’s more than fair. I didn’t make him do anything Tipping a couple dollars on an 8 mile order isn’t exactly fair, but he also shouldn’t have accepted it. Nobody should’ve though. In my area I know why this is happening more and more. I recently had a convo with a restaurant employee that I’ve gotten to know over the past few years. She briefly dated a DoorDash driver. She said a lot of these drivers (mostly Colombian but also from Venezuela) were brought over by coyotes and given DD accounts and cars for basically indentured servitude and their coyotes take almost all their money until they’re paid off and these drivers are now begging for extra cash tips since they’re unknown to their “pimps”. Expect this to keep happening until they get this border under control and they don’t have to use coyotes to cross. The chance of the second device being a work phone or a personal device used strictly for DD is a hell of a lot higher than it being a part of your coyote conspiracy.

It’s 3 phones. In the Drew Barrymore An American Actress 1975 T-Shirt But I will love this South Bay this is the norm. You can search this sub and find many posts about this happening for years. Not so much the indentured servitude part I only heard about that about a month ago but 90%+ dashers here are immigrants that buy fake accounts. This is the an ad from one of those posts. if you’re in an area that this doesn’t happen consider yourself lucky. If that were the case, the “coyotes” would know about the cash tips as well, since they’d have access to the DD accounts and could read the messages. Yeah, give him a tip on retiring. Let him know that the minimum age of retirement for social security here in the United States is 62. These the ppl that bring your food , Y’all better think about that , U make them mad and they can put anything or do anything to your food. A lot of people that complain about the dashers could also get up and get their own food and solve a million problems.
