For example, in Virginia, “Every person who intentionally makes an obscene display or exposure of his person, or the Dream the impossible seek the unknown achieve greatness retro stars T-Shirt moreover I will buy this private parts thereof, in any public place, or in any place where others are present, or procures another to so expose himself, shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.” You can she in the video that she was not topless, except for when she briefly exposed her breasts and jigged them around. There is a pretty clear argument for it being sexual in nature. You’re up against Jerry Falwell, Marjorie Taylor Green, Ted Cruz, and Pat Robertson. Like it or not they’re major players in the country we live in and influencing a helluva lot of voters. Maybe don’t flash your tits if you wanna go to the White House? Let me guess, “but she was trans!” Equality doesn’t mean special privileges. If you want to be treated like everyone else you suffer the consequences like everyone else. THAT is being treat equal (which everyone deserves to be treated)

Personally I don’t care that she did that. And I suppose some might argue this is challenging social norms with the Dream the impossible seek the unknown achieve greatness retro stars T-Shirt moreover I will buy this goal of doing away with shame and the idea that nudity is evil. Nobody died from seeing Janet Jackson’s boob for two seconds. Everything will be fine, everybody relax. BUT a lot of people do care and take these kinds of events very seriously. If one is there for a Pride event, I’d assume they are trying to win hearts and minds. Not give ammo to the right-wing crazies and media goons. This was exactly the kind of thing they wanted. Love the official statement claiming “this was not a representation of the event” when it fact it very much was. It happened at your event when people said this type of thing happens. Right-wing media shared screenshots from Montoya’s video, with commentators and media personalities calling her actions “disrespectful.”
