It only becomes racist if you only use it to describe black ppl. I.E if he was white would you say big guy or big white guy The person in question was the Dragon Ball Z Chibi On Tree Blood Moon Halloween Shirt Also,I will get this most overweight (not in the room with us, btw) among us, and I used dozens of adjectives trying to explain to another friend who I’m talking about. Finally, my friend realized who I was talking about and said “oh, the overweight person.” It would have been so easy but somehow I felt like I shouldn’t say it. But continuing to use other adjectives made the situation more awkward. The fact that EVERYONE stopped means that it was probably more your tone then your words. Black is still the predominant way black ppl are described. Overwhelmingly so.
Dragon Ball Z Chibi On Tree Blood Moon Halloween Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
What about other descriptors like ole boy with the Dragon Ball Z Chibi On Tree Blood Moon Halloween Shirt Also,I will get this glasses, or the nice smile or ole girl who laugh at everything or always making jokes. “big” black guy has a slightly different connotation to just “black guy”. But I still wouldn’t think it ought to justify that reaction. There is nothing wrong with calling someone black in that situation. The guy with red hair, the freckled girl, the asian girl, the black guy. btw, I NEVER say “African American”. There are many black people in the world who are not American. I’ll use one of my favorite actors as an example, Idris Elba is not an African American. Why is this still a problem???? We are all human. Fucking hell. Embrace our differences, if we were all the same, we’d hate it. Our diversity makes us strong and unique. No. And I’ve been told by Black friends that being afraid to use the word “Black” when describing somebody is weird. no. black is not a bad word. just like in the office (i think) someone called Oscar a Mexican and Michael was like “that’s racist”- which is racist lmao. Ironically, it’s almost as if in their own minds they associate “black” or “mexican” with their own prejudices and project that on you. On the other hand, one of my best friends was telling me about someone who came into her job to hit on her and was trying to convey how ridiculous it was that he asked her and was like “yeah he was like this old black guy and I was like dude no”. i was curious which part of that description was supposed to be so ridiculous that he hit on her. she’s been hit on by older men before, but she seemed so disgusted and that it was so insane he would think she would be receptive to it. had to give her a talking to about that (i’m black) and then a few years ago when the world lost it’s damn mind, she thanked me because she reflected and realized that yes, she did have some racist thoughts from how she grew up she wasn’t aware of. so even if it’s racist, it’s not always necessarily malevolent or aware.Saw them near my school once when i was 14, there was a Jain temple near the school. Needless to say, a whole bus of kids was scarred that day Nah probably not allowed, because it hurts organism bro. Full comitted Jains even wear masks to not hurt bacteria Possibly Jain monks from Digambar traditions…Karantaka has a rich Jain history especially South and coastal Karnataka. Very normal. In fact, I saw something very similar right in front of my school on a morning. I’ve also seen them accompanied by an elderly woman on a wheelchair. Maharashtra, Karnataka, some parts of Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Telangana have a rich history of Digambaras in both Hinduism and Jainism. Now it’s a difficult path to take. People here are just being disrespectful to a holy man who doesn’t wear slippers to not harm any insect which may come under his feet. Those were probably Digambara Jain Monks. It’s quite rare to see them off late. Which area was this if I may ask Not a Jain, but i believe everyone and every religion deserves respect and loose talks on genitals and arousals are pretty demeaning to followers of its faith We all are ignorant to the diverse culture this country has and judging ancient practices without knowledge of them is mockery.
