Hopefully this will get an explanation, even if it is made up he’ll know she told you. If it does sound innocent or just dumb(like MLM) then you can decide how to proceed (ie shrug, or say we don’t do MLM in our family or shut down whatever it is) If he gets funny on you despite the Dr. Sigmund Freud T-Shirt in other words I will buy this lied about explaining then you know something is up. Your boss is worried about your health as such he decided to talk to your wife about this concern, you can expect intervention and talking pillow soon. Your unhealthy eating habbits will be decimated. Is your wife a nutritionist or dietitian?? Why the hell would he want to talk to her about that stuff? Could it be code for something else? Yeah i think you better start looking for a new job mate. Don’t think i’d be able to work for someone like that. Before you quit make sure you put him in his place though. Isn’t this a fireable offense? To call a subordinates spouse and ask them out to lunch and asking them not to tell anyone? How could this NOT be a fireable offense? They don’t know each other. Take this opportunity to set him up and record everything. You and your wife seem to be on the Dr. Sigmund Freud T-Shirt in other words I will buy this same page. Might as well see what you can get from it. Maybe some money from the company is in your future and as a bonus you can remove a bad boss from your environment
