I second this. I used Brooks running shoes when I went from three fiddy to two fiddy. They lasted that entire wild ride. if you live in the Dr. Seuss Grinch with Sleigh Lights Xmas Tree Merry Christmas T-Shirt moreover I love this US, sign up for a DSW account. in my experience, they are pretty generous with coupons and they let you use them on sale items My first pair of Saucony Guide 15s cost $150 in August 2022 (newest ones at the time). Bought them again I believe in April-May of this year through DSW and they were $48 after tax. Former shoe salesman here. 6 months is a good benchmark, but a better one is around 500 miles. If you run a lot you go through more shoes. +1 for Brooks. Trained and ran my first half marathon in them this year and the sole is still going strong (although some fabric is starting to wear off) The real reason I bought them though was because they were the only shoe that didn’t look like a 2nd grader’s first time with a highlighter. Why are monotone running shoes so hard to find?!? Heavy girl here! Brooks for the win! Wore them every day for 3 years and the only issue was the uppers pealing away near the end of their life. Asics gotta be the best shoes ive had. My adidas and nikes are good for casual wear but for work where i stand all day the asics are my go to.

Asics were easily the Dr. Seuss Grinch with Sleigh Lights Xmas Tree Merry Christmas T-Shirt moreover I love this best shoes I had while running cross country. People swear by Brooks but they are so so so expensive comparatively I just got a pair of Brooks at a Dick’s warehouse. Ugly ass color but $85. I tried on maybe 10 pairs of shoes before I put them on. When I say my feet sung. It was like a gospel choir of comfort. I have horrendous feet (and too much weight on me right now) and i just cycle through Asics every 3 months or so. Waiting for sales and cashback, I can usually pick up a few pairs of the previous model Kayanos for $70 a pair. Brooks were solid, too, but I didn’t think Saucony worked well for me. I don’t know why no one else has picked up on this. There are ultra light shoes that have no rubber on the sole. They are not meant to last. If OP wants a shoe that lasts then they need to buy a shoe with hard rubber on the sole. It’s like wondering why a race car is bad for off-roading.
