It’s quite shocking. I found 500+ Sweaters for 50 in good condition. I don’t think they realize it’s a high end brand. I love shopping for clothes on the Downhill Cycologist Mountain Bike Vintage T-Shirt but in fact I love this TheRealReal for this reason. I got a super nice Ralph Lauren purple label sweather for $37. It’s 100% wool and fits perfectly. My only complaint is that they list all petite items together as if it’s a single size. It’s like dude, a XSP is far different from a XLP. Not actually super into this tbh – a lot of the cuts look a little baggy and square to me, which I don’t find super flattering. Gives me minimal vibes, which isn’t for me. I can see the appeal tho. Thank you! Vince has really really really nice stuff. And you may be able to find discounts at Nordstrom Rack, The Outnet, etc. My Vince boots are unbelievable and a great investment. Also I don’t know if this falls in luxury necessarily, but I have some really really nice clothes from For Love and Lemons. Beautiful quality and attention to detail, including with lingerie. Also Mother jeans I feel are worth the investment for comfort, quality and cuteness. Those are my splurge worthy places I have a white silk shell that’s 13-14 years old and everyone still compliments me every time I wear it. They really last forever! I have a classic black Vince sweater that is over 5 years old and still looks brand new. It’s in heavy rotation and goes with everything. Vince, theory, cos, rag&bone, alice&olivia have nice material and elegant design. I always get them on sale. They last for a while

Throwing Adam Lippes, Peter Cohen, CO, Nili Lotan, Rachel Comey into the Downhill Cycologist Mountain Bike Vintage T-Shirt but in fact I love this mix! Very well made but not logo-y at all. I definitely think the ultimate low key luxury is probably Brunello Cuccinelli and Loro Piana though, every time I wander into the fancy section of Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf Goodman I always seem to end up in their section petting a baby cashmere scarf or something. Styles very classic and blend-in/forgettable, like no one will look at you twice, but the material is so nice. 6 days agoIt’s Canadian slow-fashion with fine natural fibres like merino wool, cashmere and extra-long staple Egyptian cotton. Rick, Loro Piana, Guidi, Bottega, Loewe has some nice stuff, I really like Undercover they have some wonderful pieces but maybe not in direction you’re looking for. Any staple pieces or style in particular you’re going for?
