It’s actually that simple. If you want a change then you need to change the shopping habits of the majority of women who keeps buying clothes with no pockets. It’s not that they don’t think that women “deserve” pockets, it’s just that when it comes to actually making the purchase, women don’t prioritize it like men do. To argue against this is to argue that either capitalists hate easy money. WHY DOES NO ONE ACTUALLY KNOW YOU ALL ARE STUPID HOLY SHIT. It’s because women’s pants are generally tighter around the waist/crotch/hip area so if the pocket bag was bigger it would show through the pants from the outside when you are wearing them. Even if they aren’t a tight fitting style they use the same patterns so the pockets would be the same. STOP BEING FUCKING SEXIST ABOUT IT HOLY SHIT. They have little incentive to change since women keep buying those pants because a tight fit around the ass is more important than big pockets. It’s a really internalised issue.
