Im trying to use my humor and goofiness and and original b-roll to set me apart but you are right on. I am still looking for my unfair advantage and unique angle to preexisting ideas I suppose. It might be a factor, but it could also just be YouTube being so random. I’ve seen several youtubers talk about how they had almost no subs or anything going on for 1-2 years, then suddenly out of nowhere it blew up. I agree it’s frustrating that YouTube isn’t better at recommending stuff. My channel’s very similar in terms of stats. Subs good, watch time no so much. It’s frustrating. I guess perhaps standing out within the niche might be a challenge- what can you do that is very intriguing that nobody else is doing? That’s a question I would try to ask myself if I were you
