Frankly, once Gutey made the Dont Judge What You Cant Understand Sunflower LGBT Pride Month T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this decision to move on to love, there was almost zero need for Rodgers to talk to GB, or GB to talk to Rodgers. Eating his cap if he retired has been on the table since the contract was signed, and so has a trade. The front office had all scenarios in front of them for a while, so not sure what discussions at all needed to be had once they decided to go with Love. If he wanted to be trade, great. If he wants to retire, that’s fine too. But Gutey saying that rodgers actually returning to GB was an option seems disingenuous at best given all that we know. Not surprising at all. The number of packers fans defending aaron rodgers has slowly but surely gotten smaller and smaller over the last few years. Really can’t believe there’s still some hanging on. Same shit happened with Brett Favre fans in 08z Honestly better for this franchise for those kinds of fans to just become jets fans permanently in a few weeks here. For some of us, there has never been another qb, lol. Rogers is packers football…

But even I have move past aaron with all of this and just want to see what the Dont Judge What You Cant Understand Sunflower LGBT Pride Month T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this future holds. Say what you want, the packers put Rodgers in a position to go to the superbowl multiple times, it just didn’t work out other than the first Super Bowl. I wish Rodgers had taken a team discount like Brady did.On the flip side and speaking solely on his talent (not defending his personality) there were many years where Rodgers had to drag the team into the playoffs to even have a shot at the Super Bowl. If he had an off game, there wasn’t a good enough team built around him to get the win. There was (and remains) too much coach loyalty in GB. For instance, Capers had way too long of a leash for how the defense was performing. Pair that with some risky defensive draft picks (let’s make a safety play CB for the first time because that’s the position we need) and you can also say the FO wasted a lot of Rodgers’ prime years.Agreed, Rodgers always elevated the team (I would still take him back). But he complains a lot about cutting guys and loyalty and I think ultimately greenbay made the right cuts to always have a good team around him (although not great), also injuries (bahk one cost us a Super Bowl, imo, Finley, collins) and also hard to bring free agent to live in greenbay. But over 12 years of consistently have it competitive teams….if only they didn’t have it make him the highest player in the nfl multiple times.I think the coach loyalty thing is a function of keeping GB attractive to coaches. GB isn’t exactly a tourist attraction, but it’s appealing to coaches because it has job stability. I’m not saying they should keep shitty coaches but they have to offer a longer leash in GB in order to keep the pipeline of coaching talent coming in. No one wants to go to the little football town that will fire your ass in a year. For Miami or Los Angeles or Phoenix, hey I’ll take the risk it’s a great location. It’s interesting because I also hate Mark Murphy so I can sympathize. I detest Aaron Rodger’s persona but all I can think about is he’s both our best chance to win and that the FO fucked up the roster building year after year after year. It’s hard to know what’s true. But the way this front office handled firing McCarthy, what the ex-players are saying, etc. makes me lean towards believing Rodgers over Gute right now. Why? Gute has no power here. None. The moment he gave Rodgers 3 years/150 mil he gave Rodgers all the power. That contract said “we are committed to you as our qb and the way you finish your packers career is entirely up to you”. If Rodgers wanted to be a green bay packer this season he would be and there’s nothing gute could do about it. Rodgers got to pick how he left the team and he got to pick where he went. Which is what he wanted all along. The media drama and front office fued was 100% about Rodgers getting to leave on his terms. And now he got that. So good for him. He gets to fulfill his ego and win his petty little war against the front office.Every franchise has players with sour grapes after they leave. That will never change. This isn’t about that. This is about Rodgers very clearly playing games in the media for a few years now. It’s a tired act that most packers fans are done with.Season ended January 8th. How do you think an article on January 13th where Gute says “talked this week” disproves that Rodgers stopped communicating after the season?
