The uturn in the video is the second uturn. There was one that he says he did before that so that he could cycle up beside the driver and take the video. That is the uturn they are claiming is dangerous and judging from how he turned straight back around I’m guessing it was by surprise, without signal to the motorcyclist coming up through the middle of the slow moving traffic.
