if people like your videos you can get 100k subs in 2 years…hell, 5 months…and THATS the Donkey I don’t believe in fact I’m a democrat shirt Besides,I will do this harsh truth because what does that say about people who’ve been doing this for 4 years with less than 100 subs? it says people dont like your videos no matter how good or bad the editing, the time, the animation. time had nothing to do with it. thats when to quit or pivot. I mean if someone is trying to do it for a career or serious hobby I’d say stop … but if someone just posts a random video here or there that takes minimal effort to make and over the span of 4 years they have 100 subs, that’s pretty good. Preach it. 90% of the posts in here are all like, “I’ve followed all the steps from Influencer X and my content has everything it needs to be viral, but YouTube is not showing it to millions of people like it should be. Why does YouTube hate me and suck so much? I make content just like Influencer X, honestly better, but the algorithm is holding me back. Is it because of my location? Is it because of my religion? Is it because of the color of my skin? Is it because of my age?” It’s because your content sucks. You need to humble yourself and accept the truth so you can learn from your mistakes and move on. If you are too arrogant to accept the truth and deny that you are even making mistakes, then you’re never going to go anywhere, period. You can keep blaming whoever and whatever you want, but that’s never going to change the fact your content sucks. You can only change that by taking action and improving yourself and your content.

Donkey I don’t believe in fact I’m a democrat shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Totally agree. The vast majority here need to humble themselves and admit their content isn’t half as good as they think it is. Whenever they come asking for critiques and you point it out, they get defensive instead of taking the Donkey I don’t believe in fact I’m a democrat shirt Besides,I will do this opportunity to improve. I understand what OP and others are saying but doesn’t someone need to watch and deem that it sucks or the algorithm just knows? If you’re just starting out, Youtube is gonna focus on getting impressions out to find an audience that would like your videos. In fact, you’ll sometimes see it where a video will say that it’s currently showing impressions to a wider audience, though it may not necessarily affect your view count. I only just recently noticed (after 30 videos) that my stuff was being shown a lil more to a more consistent audience. Eh that’s not true. As a new channel w/ no established watch patterns/categorization, YouTube is almost certainly not going to push your content to more than a few dozen impressions day 1. They just have no clue who you are. You may get relegated to search term only lookup. Now on YT Shorts that might be different, but most everyone here wants good view #s & subs on desktop, not Shorts.
