This is either a “we are giving him a way out because he fucked up so badly that if news of the Domingo German New York Y Perfect Game T-Shirt but in fact I love this truth gets out our entire school will be ruined” kind of situation or “we are complete and utter pieces of shit and will rob people of what we owe them for the tiniest reason imaginable” kind of situation. Today. Today is the day. He knows exactly what he must do. He struck a deal with the Superintendent. He won’t be ousted for his crimes at school, but he needs a reason to get fired, a cover. The sting is set, 815am, at Famima. He puts on his favorite pair of socks and his good underwear. He irons his murky brown slacks, white shirt, and ties his tie one last time, grabbing his matching murky brown suit jacket on his way out. He enters Famima, it’s 8:14, right on time. His heart starts to race, this is it. His career comes to an end with the push of a single button. Large. He paid for a medium, which is 30 yen less than the large. The police captain gets the confirmation, and gives his team the green light to politely walk in and gently escort the thief out. They got their man. The paperwork that ensues is long, but worth it. The police captain can finally retire, and the school can breathe a sigh of relief as they’ve successfully covered up some horrendous crime that they can never speak of.
