If you’re up for the Dog man reading gives you superpowers shirt Additionally,I will love this expense of dry cleaning, get some silk tops! Silk looks “more adult” to me and you can get silk tops in similar silhouettes to what you already wear. I get silk at thift stores for very cheap (esp when I visit NYC, just due to the sheer volume and size of thrift stores there) and have even gotten tops hemmed and taken in to fit my torso better. Also, you could wait to do most of your shopping in the Netherlands. The styles and prices will probably be much better there anyways. It’s almost always cheaper to buy clothes in the US versus Europe because of VAT. The Netherlands is quite expensive, and they don’t really have petite sizing so much in Europe. OP will pay a fortune for tailoring because it’s insanely expensive. I also live in Northern Europe and whenever I go home to the US I order a bunch of clothes to wherever I’m staying and I am OPs same height. I have more luck finding clothes that fit me in vintage stores, but it’s still quite expensive. I also don’t think it’s quite as formal in business and academic settings here. My friend who used to live in Leiden told me that people in the Netherlands love leopard print, so OP can do with that what she will

Edit: OP also make sure you have a really good raincoat! Congratulations, the Dog man reading gives you superpowers shirt Additionally,I will love this Netherlands is a really awesome place Fair, in Europe I’ve only been to Italy and the UK everything (food, clothes, accommodations – normal things, not luxury) was surprisingly cheap to me. I always vaguely thought Europe would be expensive across the board. But I also live in San Francisco so perhaps my perspective is skewed here. Petite is not a big market in the Netherlands – as Dutch people are some of the tallest in the world. Belgium and France are better for petite, but still probably not as much choice as the US. Clothes are also more expensive in all those countries. You look like an adult to me already. If you want to dress more formal for a specific purpose that’s one thing but you don’t need to change your style, I think it’s great.
