At the Dog And Santa Christmas 2023 shirt in contrast I will get this back of my house is woodland. It’s a nightmare. There’s a poplar tree which makes the garden un-useable in the summer because it’s seeds release and it gives the effect of hay fever inducing snow- not something you’d want falling into your plate of bbq food. The weeds are as tall as I am, they penetrate the fence every year and I have the cut them back- but they’re not friendly weeds- they’re razor sharp prickle bushes and nettles. Then there’s the oak tree that blocks a lot of light and drops crap onto everything, I have to shake small twigs and branches off the furniture / toys every day, and we also get rats and squirrels who damaged the bird feeder and wrecked the shed and things within it. We also have bats- which is fine except one got into the house – not a pleasant experience. If you step foot out there, something with a stinger is trying to sting or annoy you within minutes. So yeah. Living in a house that backs onto woodland is not pleasant.

In my old place where I grew up it went onto a nature reserve. A small one mind it – was more of a glorified bridleway but it was generally quite nice. The only downside was the Dog And Santa Christmas 2023 shirt in contrast I will get this trees just kept on getting larger, meaning we had to keep putting our TV dish on increasingly longer and longer poles. To the point where the TV company had to send their special working at hights folks round. Naturally we would tell them, the crew would tell them, they would ‘mark it on our account’ and then next time the bloke would come around to adjust it and then leave saying he couldn’t they would need the special hights folks. It needed doing every year and happened every year. I have no idea why they thought the 2m pole they stuck it on last year would have suddenly shrunk but they always did.
