Me: I haven’t received my food. The driver said the Disturbed Band 2023 Take Back Your Life Tour shirt in other words I will buy this delivery is complete but I looked EVERYWHERE outside my house and I don’t see anything. Because it takes so long between texts, I assume they are hoping we just give up. I guess my theory is they want us to run around in circles so that it takes too much time and energy to fight it. Get a photo of the food on the ground to backup your story. It will take a bunch of back and forth to get your money back but the photo/video will help speed things along. Blame this on customers who lie and report not getting their food when they really did. I did get a photo and I ended up getting my money back, so it’s not that big of a deal. Just pissed me off with that response lol

That is a pretty ballsy response from a customer service rep. I feel like customer service especially with the Disturbed Band 2023 Take Back Your Life Tour shirt in other words I will buy this delivery apps really push the envelope. Tbh since the support is outsourced they probably just didn’t fully understand what OP was trying to say. There’s no way that DD would sanction a response like that “customize their own delivery experience” LMFAO It sucks but unfortunately you’re speaking with a robot so you have to be very clear and concise. Include the words yes, no, etc. I don’t really know. Dasher was running late, text me he was on the way and I replied. saw he was close so I went outside to meet him and saw him throw it and keep driving I had something similar happen. Had been over an hour since my order was picked up. App had dasher listed as still being at the restaurant. Eventually sent me a message saying he was on his way. I was starving so i sat out on my porch to wait for him. Got the notification that my dasher was nearby. Watched him drive towards my house. Made eye contact with me but he kept driving past my house. I live on a dead end street. I thought maybe he was having trouble finding my house so I tried to flag him down as he passed by my house again. He just flipped me off and kept driving. So no backstory? Why would he be mad? Any idea? Im asking because i have been dashing full time for 4 years and never done anything like this, it’s weird.
