I mean if you live in a place you can recycle them for a little bit of money, hey a few dollar? But other than that, this is BAD I do think stores should donate/give away usable food that they can’t sell anymore, but like, must they be lowkey smarmy about it? Expired soda doesn’t go bad like other food, it just goes flat. The bakery by my grandma’s house puts their expired sodas on the Disney Encanto Cartoon Shirt in other words I will buy this counter for free. It doesn’t make the sentiment here any less disappointing though, even if the manager is aware of this. Our work will have whole cases of stuff that go expired in the winter months so they usually set them out a month before if they’re not gonna sell them. Then they sit in the break room for a couple more months when everyone forgets they were expiring lol

Honestly this is fine. It’s probably a day or 2 past is “best by” date and they just can’t sell it. They also probably mean you can take it home, not drink warm soda. We can drink regular unexpired pop at my work but I also called dibs on the Disney Encanto Cartoon Shirt in other words I will buy this 24 pack of expired diet coke. Shit treated me well for a long time That’s a canned good the expiration date and the actual time it will expire are probably weeks if not months apart and it’s for free. Obv getting something unexpired would be better but I still like.this idea better then just throwing these away. It’s still good. Better than pitching it. It’s just a “best quality if used by” date. I’d drink it all day & be grateful employer didn’t pitch it.
