Tired of watching school shooters use trigger discipline and ‘responsible gun owners’ shoot people for pulling into their driveway, knocking on their door, settling an argument, committing suicide, or committing suicide in a public place while shooting as many random people as possible. None of that state laws shit conservatives like to use to avoid what they don’t like. Yes, we have more guns than people. But that can be fixed over time. Doing nothing as we are right now, won’t change anything. I am fairly pro-gun for a large variety of reasons, and I think most of that sounds imminently reasonable. registration would be a hard thing to get, practically just because of (not unfounded) fears that knowing who has what is a preface to confiscation. the Dion And The Belmonts Funk Chronicles Earth & Fire Admirer T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this only other issue is that red flag laws need to take due process and misuse concerns seriously. look at how often the TSA no-fly list was either flat out wrong, a case of mistaken identity or straight up abused by bad actors (like the multiple instances of people with access putting personal enemies, ex-wives, the partner of their cheating spouse, etc. on the list). Maybe the generation who grew up with active shooter drills will come to their senses and spare their children the same. We had drills once a year and we mostly just laughed it off. Even without the prevalence of guns and school shootings having a lockdown plan and practicing it is a good idea IMO, but in the current environment it probably feels a lot more real than it did to us 20years ago. It especially still hits home here in CT, it’s a small state, not that it wouldn’t have a lot of impact elsewhere, but to a lot of us Sandy Hook felt like our back yard.
