Plus, in general, children cannot be liable for debt. They can’t sign contracts, they don’t have a day in their care, staying or going wasn’t up to her. Guardians, including the Dicesare Engler Monday December 2 John Butcer Axis Vintage INXS concert tour T-Shirt it is in the first place but state, are responsible until the person is a legal adult. How is this different for abandoned children? From what I understand the state is the child’s legal guardian in this situation. You would think there would be laws stopping the state from taking money from a minor in their care. But it’s Illinois, the politicians are too busy being corrupt to fix anything. That’s because like in so many states and regimes, the Illinois politicians aren’t held to the flame of the problems they aggravate. They’re always insulated from the shit they either cause, refuse to fix for campaign donations, or get-off on doing for a power-trip. They do this shit because they’re not drowning in a flood or burning in fires like happens to the rest of us. They do this shit BECAUSE they’re not being shot at school or work, or made to starve from program cuts as happens to the rest of us.

We need a fundamental change in governing: legislators and agencies must be made to live their decisions as an example to the Dicesare Engler Monday December 2 John Butcer Axis Vintage INXS concert tour T-Shirt it is in the first place but rest of us. Only when their own lives and livelihoods are as directly impacted or cut-short by their decisions as the rest of ours will they have any incentive to NOT do the most perverse choice they can find. My understanding is that the guardian has access to any trust funds/SSI payments belonging to the child, and can use them for certain purposes. Paying a hospital bill due for the child’s care would normally be an acceptable reason, but the government accrued a lot of unnecessary expense. I agree that’s how it should be, but I’ve also seen where juvenile (and adults) have huge debts when they are released from custody.. like juveniles have to PAY for being in custody… I never knew that until the day I learned maybe 3 mos. ago.. There are homeless shelters in California that pay someone to show you how to get $250/mo in direct cash assistance. The homeless shelter takes the entire $250. Then, years later, if and when you manage to get your shit together and off of public assistance, you get a bill for all of those months of having accepted cash assistance. I got news for ya, Americans: they don’t fuck over the mentally ill and poor in many of our peer countries, like we do, ours.
