I would have thought Texas, where I live, would have this kind of law on the Diana ross the wiz shirt Furthermore, I will do this books, rather than a more enlightened New England state. It’s important to note that in the United states, the first legislation ever introduced by a woman in 1890 was to change the age of consent laws from 12 to 21, it was ignored Southern states especially resisted this change because rape was used against black girls to assert white superiority, and they feared that these girls could use the law against grown white men. Child marriage Is still legal in the United States with parental waiver, with 6 states having no limit on the age of marriage. Oh I agree. But personally 16 year olds having sex with someone older doesn’t bother me—but it does bother a lot of people. It’s just updating an old ass law to make it a blanket ban. Most situations sex with a minor has been illegal for a while. There were some loopholes involving being able to marry someone from 12-16 that were fairly narrow – this closes even those. You guys have to understand not everywhere sees adult = 18 ish. Some countries have child labour for a reason lol. They either can’t(economic) or don’t(cultural) have the same morality towards children as we do.

US law states that despite local conditions, you aren’t allowed to have sex with someone under the Diana ross the wiz shirt Furthermore, I will do this age of 18 outside the confines of the US. Oh geez, my Kuya is a Vietnam vet and married a Norwegian. His daughter, my younger cousin inherited the Asian genetics of youth and when visiting the Philippines with her dad the hotel receptionist offered them a single bed, my Tiyo was so livid they thought that of him. Which tells you that’s the culture there…ewk! Philippines very much has a tourist “pedo”culture, smh. this is coming from someone who was taken advantage of at a young age, this is definitely necessary. When i was still a kid i thought even 15 seemed a bit too old to use your virginity, now as an adult who has been in therapy for 6 years because of the years of grooming and sexual assault i went through, i’m willing to stab any adult who has ever even had a thought about doing something sexual with an underage person. You don’t realize it as a kid, or maybe even as an adult, but that shit will fuck you over. There are countless of little girls and boys who are victims of statutory rape and sexual harassment without fully even realizing it, so changes like this are absolutely necessary.
