The Lions’ defense has struggled in Hutchinson’s absence. In the two games he has missed, the Lions have allowed an average of 31 points per game.

The Lions will hope to get Hutchinson back on the field soon. He is a key part of their defense and they need him to be healthy if they want to make a run at the playoffs.

Description for Detroit Lions placed on injured reserve Aidan Hutchinson shirt

Aidan Hutchinson’s injury is a big blow to the Lions’ defense. He is their best pass rusher and his absence will be felt.
The Lions have several other young pass rushers on their roster, but none of them have the same experience or talent as Hutchinson.
The Lions will need to find a way to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks without Hutchinson. If they can’t, their defense will continue to struggle.
