Not gonna get into the Denver Nuggets Dream X Black History Collection Shirt Furthermore, I will do this debate on whether “letting your cats roam” in a city is bad or not. There are of course risks that they could get hurt. But there is also the cat’s well-being, and cats are by nature solitary roaming hunters. A cat can have an area spanning several acres that he “patrols” daily. I watched a show about this on Animal Planet once where they put trackers on several cats in a neighborhood that were indoor/outdoor cats. They all had very large areas they’d patrol, walking the same paths every day. They all actually naturally worked out paths and schedules to largely avoid each other. Ultimately it described how cats love to explore and even a large single-family home is usually way too small of an area for a cat to really be healthy.

So in my opinion, keeping cats indoors all the Denver Nuggets Dream X Black History Collection Shirt Furthermore, I will do this time is actually the “irresponsible” thing to do as a pet owner. I’m not saying your cats should be getting into the neighbor’s trash, but it’s one of those things where having a cat means you should probably figure out a way to let it be outside. Cat domestication has nothing to do with them being inside, though. Keeping cats indoors is a relatively recent development. I dont know why. I don’t let my cats out mainly for the reason that I don’t want to wonder what fucked up or killed my cat when they don’t return. Sometimes they just won’t stay inside. My ex and I rescued a stray a while back. We had only been feeding him, but when we moved into our new house we caught him and brought him with. We could not keep him in the house. Occasionally he would ask to be let in for a few hours. On really cold nights or when it was pouring outside he might stay inside overnight. But other than that he refused to stay in the house. He would either have a fit until we let him out, or he would bolt any time someone opened the door. Loveable cat. Liked being petted and would cuddle when inside. Just hated being indoors most of the time.
