Spotify used to offer me three free months at least twice a year, until I open my big mouth. I haven’t gotten that offer in over a year. Lol True, but it will try to play the Demar Derozan American professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls T-Shirt and I love this ads immediately after the song ends, so it gets into a cycle of song > ads > skip via close > song > ads > rinse and repeat. Why would you not use premium? It’s literally all music ever for the price of what 3 CDs would be a year. Proves that people will actually not pirate and pay (albeit not very much) if it’s consumer friendly. I was at a concert last week and between the sets they were playing music like every other show. But this time there was commercials. A popular music venue in downtown Toronto, didn’t pay for a premium subscription to Spotify….. wild

Spotify premium is the Demar Derozan American professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls T-Shirt and I love this most important subscription to me, I can’t understand how you would use Spotify often and not have premium Some people want to listen to more than 8 minutes of music before getting spammed with ads, or listening to the previous song, or anything else regular Spotify blocks without having to pay them money. MFW I got YouTube and Spotify premium so I feel like a complete out-of-touch boomer with the memes complaining about ads and whatnot There are people who use the free Spotify? It’s sooooo worth it for premium. By far the most worth it subscription I have. I quit using premium. It was worth it as a student since I could pay 4 ~ 5 bucks and get Hulu included. But you have to renew your student status yearly, so if you forget about it, there is no notification, and they just start charging you full price. I used the full price premium for a while, but got tired of them uping their price regularly while I received the same level of service. I rarely used it, so I decided it just wasn’t worth it. Yeah those student discount days were the best. I’m big into music so I use it like 6-8 hours a day everyday. I can see how it wouldn’t be worth it if you’re not constantly listening to music though. I could literally cut every single digital service I pay for out of my life/budget – but Spotify Premium would 100% not get cut (and my 1TB of iCloud storage…but I digress.) On desktop, you can download a little app called ‘EZBlocker’ it doesnt stop the ads but it does mute spotify while ads play! That way you can save your eardrums from the absolutely bafflingly bad ads that run on spotify
