I dunno about Darwin being the Deion Sanders The Legend Signature American football coach and former professional T-Shirt it is in the first place but only place you visit in Australia. I’m Australian and have travelled all over and it’s my least favourite place. Ha! I leave Jan. 21st of ‘24 in opposite direction. Sprint through Europe for 3-months in counter-clockwise motion. Finish in Southern Spain. Work south through Morocco, hit as much west africa as possible into south africa. Up through east africa to turkey, greece, georgia. Then, down through india, over to SEA. Up to south korea and japan. Fly back to western usa to decompress for a month and say “hi” to the family. Then, down to mexico city, south to central america and then finishing it off in south america. Wish me luck!! Lol Pack light. There is no substitute for packing light. You can buy stuff as you go. You’ll wear things out and have to improvise. Just how it is. Packing light makes everything you do that much easier. Plan as you go. Yes, read up on all the places you want to visit. Store ebooks in your phone. Have a plan. But you’ll meet people — and things like “Hey, let’s go over to my weird uncle’s pepper farm and hang out there for a week” happen. Be ready to toss your plan when opportunity knocks.

When you arrive at a new place, go to the Deion Sanders The Legend Signature American football coach and former professional T-Shirt it is in the first place but most popular hostel in town, find someone who has been in country for awhile, and ask where the good stuff can be found — budget meals, hostel which isn’t rife with bedbugs, best place to change money, etc. Make some traveling friends. Be ready to jet away to a new region of something happens. I found myself in the middle of a civil war in Africa. It was no fun. You’re making me even more excited, I really can’t wait. And I appreciate the advice. When buying things like souvenirs or clothing, and it becomes too much. I’d imagine just shipping stuff home wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world yeah? Is this common practice by chance? Because knowing myself I might accumulate some clothing and nic-naks as I go. Don’t trust shipping. In the developing world, it’s a dandy way to have your stuff stolen — even souvenirs. Just replace clothes as needed as you go. You probably won’t find the kind of quality you’re used to. But people there need clothes. It will get you through the next country.
