Probably a freeway or highway they can’t turn on or something.. I did this once while dashing, pulled out of restaurant and went into right lane because I had to turn right soon, but wait a second, this lane only goes to an exit to a freeway?? By then it was too late to get into another lane, and I was stuck driving an extra 8 miles for the Def Leppard I Was There The World Tour 2023 shirt in other words I will buy this order No. Do not tip more. They had many, many, many chances to turn around had they actually went the wrong way by mistake. Funny how customer service has gone 180 degrees. You used to get something free to make up for poor service but now the customer has to give something extra for poor service lol. Dasher must be new and never went to the location and didn’t know what to do. I feel for them. It’s much more new dashers than customers are aware of. Most don’t last a week doing DoorDash or any app delivery because it’s not as easy as thought ( gas, maintenance cost).

Can’t say what anyone else should do. Not my place but, I’d send them an extra $10 myself but, doesn’t mean you or anyone else should. Clearly a newbie. They likely missed the Def Leppard I Was There The World Tour 2023 shirt in other words I will buy this turn Or Navigation could’ve acted up on their end. In rural places it’s common for the app to malfunction even in suburbs. I just wasn’t sure if extra tip $$ was expected in this instance or not. Thanks for the suggestion! I threw her an extra $10. You didn’t have to do that, but it was so kind that you did. As a dasher myself it’s really appreciated knowing that there’s still people like you in the world! That really is kind. In my experience most customers will be so pissed off. Some will even rescind the tip. Yes the Dasher is possibly new or hasn’t become familiar with the area. When I moved in to a MUCH bigger town it was so frustrating and got my first 1 star for having a lot of trouble finding them.
