I think vlogs only really work for people who already have fans, and that content is unlikely to be as popular as what brought them fans. I get a few people subscribed (Have like 38 subs atm) as well as maybe a like, sometimes dislikes because I even mentioned Trans people even know I’m Trans myself. You can go to forums like reddit to find questions people are asking until your channel grows and you get questions in your comments. Jusy answer questions you think people want to know. Or stuff you would have wanted to know. You dint actually beed people to ask you so you? If you really wanted to vlog you could answer the questions as you go about your day
