When I was last up there multiple Rangers told me that Moose scare them more than Bears. Very similar to Hippos in the sense that they are extremely territorial and kill just to get you out of their area. Maybe he thought you’d get in that chevy and saved you from dying in that rolling coffin, or being left in the middle of the road. Hope that doggo received a treat because he definitely earned it; Reecey may have saved a human life by stopping Moosey dead in his tracks. Good boy Reecey!!!

Ok, wait, a moose bearing down on you from out of no where, and this guy’s reaction is like, “woohoooo!” Most alaskan/ canadian reaction ever! For some reason, the casual cronch cronch of the moose walking away at the end is cracking me up. If I were the foley guy doing footstep sound effects for that moose, I would get it absolutely wrong and it would be way more believable.Lots of credit to the man as well for staying those couple important seconds to call the dog back Man thoe things are NASTY! Had a moose wandering through the neighborhood back in October – just strolling down the road, alleyways, through people’s yards.
