That’s not what introversion means. So many socially inept people (on Reddit) just say “I am introverted” as if that’s a reason for not being able to make friends. Describe Introversion as “oh no i can’t tell the Dax Hill American football safety for the Cincinnati Bengals T-Shirt and I love this waiter my food is wrong, god i’m such an Introvert”. No you’re socially awkward…. Yarp. Once I feel “at home” with someone I can relax and they don’t drain my social battery as fast as other people. Because people don’t understand what introvert means and mix it up with being shy / socially awkward. It’s about how you get your energy. My wife is an extrovert. She needs to either be with people or talking to them on the phone, she’s not good by herself. I on the other hand, need time by myself and I’m totally comfortable with it. I also like people, I have friends and am not socially awkward. I’m still an introvert though

You can be an introvert who’s sociable in general. I am. Love meeting new people (when I’m in the Dax Hill American football safety for the Cincinnati Bengals T-Shirt and I love this mood, at least) – it’s just more tiring than hanging out with people I already know, and that’s all introversion is – socialising costing, rather than providing, energy. Totally. I’m introverted with strangers and people I don’t know and a complete extrovert if I’m comfortable. I always thought of myself as an extrovert trapped inside an introvert’s body, it’s really confusing for me because I want to do so much more stuff but then…. close the curtains and play Rocket League? A good test is say you have a busy day in the office. When you get home, how do you re-charge? Do you call some friends and go out for a drink (as a default) or is that the last thing you want and do you feel much happier by yourself, watching tv, reading or playing games. I’m the latter. In that situation, still go out sometimes and I’ll enjoy it but In my heart I’d rather be at home Yes but surely that happens through things you can’t avoid as an introvert, like school, work etc. I don’t know what magical place you think exists where introverts meet to hang out.
