fuck that bro, they just wanna fill the Dave edmunds here comes the weekends play guitar stars shirt in addition I really love this position until they find someone to hire and say… oh, ur not needed anymore…. u can keep your old title and pay, but hey… thanks for training the new guy/gal. Nope, don’t take it without the pay raise and job title change on paper. There is always a part of risk, because as we say in my language “promises only engage those that believe in them”, meaning there are no guarantees. However if you want to test the water and see how serious they are, try to get some timelines in WRITING. This is more common than you think. Why? Because if 100days are good enough for US presidents to come up with a plan surely it’s good enough for you too. And if after 6mth they cannot make their mind up about you, then they are just toying with you. Why? Because if it ain’t there then it doesn’t exist. You must have a price tag in your head attached to doing all these extra duties. Is it even aligned with what they are willing to pay you eventually? You need to know beforehand, otherwise you might be left demotivated and angry when you find out.

Same with the Dave edmunds here comes the weekends play guitar stars shirt in addition I really love this title. Is it the same as old boss or not. Directorial titles usually come with a better healthcare band, better benefits, sometimes more vacations. Title is NOT everything, grade matters too. It needs to be clear if you are replacing your boss, or just used as a spare tire with all the work but none of the benefits. They are probably just trying to see how long they can ride you before you break. Maybe buying some time to recruit externally, or a problem securing a headcount (recruitment freeze maybe), or a plethora of other reasons NONE OF THEM ARE YOUR PROBLEM. What you want for the position- for you. Cash advance right now- cut me a check of a number that seems fair and add a little more I wanted new desks, catering weekly, a quiet / chill space for the team & I. New phones, new equipment so they can take it home & work. Everything in writing because they will lie. Or record the meeting I did. We did well and I landed 2 new contracts. And they yanked me and gave the lead to someone else. It may not happen but you need cover your ass
