But if anyone is wondering why Republicans do this debt ceiling hostage taking every two years, here’s your answer: Plenty of people, even people who are not Republicans, are perfectly willing to blame the Daron Payne Washington World Of Payne Washington Commanders signature shirt and I will buy this Democrats for trying to keep the US from defaulting on its debts and literally sinking the world economy. It’s the Republicans who are demanding insane batshit crazy spending cuts and entitlement program restrictions and cuts. Democrats only go along with some small part of what Republicans want just to keep the world economy from cratering. It’s like equally blaming literal kidnappers / hostage takers, and the guy who agrees to pay them off to get his kid back. Like as if they were both equally to blame for the situation. What a joke. Okay I looked it up. In 2021 the Daron Payne Washington World Of Payne Washington Commanders signature shirt and I will buy this House sat for 160 days, leading to remuneration of $12,640. Evidently, the Senate sat for 171 days last year, for a cool $13,509. I used to travel for federal audits. We only got per diem when we traveled for our work, and it was extremely tight-fisted. On the days you travel? Only 75%. You had to pick the cheaper rate of the two cities you were in. If I want to eat lunch at work I have to take it with me or pay for fast food with money from my regular paycheck. They don’t give me an extra allowance for food or “incidentals.” America is built on a foundation of racism and oppression. America is horrible mess and it won’t ever change for the better. “Poor babies need money to eat since there mommy won’t pack them a lunch anymore.” Is more effective against those piss-pants cry-babies than using logic or reasoning. Republicans don’t view this as hypocrisy. In fact, they view those of us who seek some modicum of fairness, justice, ethics, and equality in such matters as being “chumps”. I have noticed the rich get a lot paid for for them, whether by individuals or by the government. The people who have all the money never have to spend it on anything. They should buy their own fucking lunch. Congress also gets universal healthcare for life, regardless of how long they served. Universal healthcare for me but not for thee.
