For context, 52/M. divorced now for 7 years. Since my divorce I’ve had about 4 steady girlfriends, my current girlfriend just turned 50. We are both in decent shape, try to stay fit and healthy. Now, I hear lots of stories about ED and diminishing libido as we age, there are all kinds of ED and Testosterone replacement ads I see on tv. In my youth, I would have thought over 40 things would start to go downhill. But my girlfriend and I have these long sessions. Looooong. I mean, multiple evening hours, hardly any breaks, until we are basically exhausted. Then rounds in the Danuel House American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this middle of the night, and maybe a 2 hour session in the morning. I’m describing a weekend day when we actually have that much undisturbed time available.

Is this normal? We are both amazed at how long we last. Is this the Danuel House American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this last gasp of sexual energy before I start going downhill? Yeah, in my youth I never would have imagined the best sex of my life after 50. I probably wouldn’t have believed it if someone said that. So if it’s been awhile, just be confident you can eventually get it back. Or start again, very happily. I’m about your age. Haven’t had any decrease in libido nor performance, either. One difference, though, my body doesn’t seem to demand it beyond the will of my mind like it did when I was young. I certainly made poor life choices when young, just to create an opportunity, once upon a time. Now, experiences are more fulfilling, the lack of that crazed intensity of youth makes it all easier and ironically enough, more frequent. I found a huge uptick in my own libido when I turned 40. My fiancé is just a few years older than I am and we’ve had the same conversation. Like…is someone spiking our food? hah
