I do not like Mr. Beast at all. But he does not deserve the Daniel Theis German professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers T-Shirt in addition I really love this hate here. This was an act that helped I don’t even know how many Some people have a really hard time understanding why this as a concept is bad. It such an american thing. Hand outs do not work in making people better off. They create reliance on foreign aid which does not solve issues and give way to lobbying by parties who are happy to use the population as a workforce and without a proper legal framework there as they are often undeveloped it gives way to further exploitation (talking about IMF standards required for their aid). Systemic solutions are required for it and there is plenty of people who work against them, in America in particular. The fact that some rich guy from bumfuck, ohio built some wells is good but its just a pretty coating of glitter over a sea of shit that was accumulating there over the years. Nestle will still hoard water in countries like that making the need for such wells persistent which will perpetuate the cycle but everyone who watches him will feel good and cricitsize everyone pointing to the real issue at hand. 100 wells will serve around 100 – 200 k people which is good but how soon till nestle comes and just buys them? There is about 400 mil people at danger from water scarcity in africa alone. Healthy reminder that USA was one of the few countries that abstained from a vote over the right to water

Can someone just tell me where this dude gets all his dough from? I’ve seen a few videos but a billion thumbnail with his stupid face* saying shit like “I went to new York and gave a million dollars to everyone in Central Park) he’s always just throwing out money like he is a (sort of altruistic) Saudi Prince. how does that apply here though? How is building those wells bad in any way? The people profit from it and he profits from it Nope! Didn’t you know? Sub-Saharan Africa’s raison d’être is clout and headlines! You too can be part of the Daniel Theis German professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers T-Shirt in addition I really love this solution from the comfort of your social media newsfeed. On what base are you allowed to decide about this? Are you in any way targeted by a problem of not having any clear water anywhere? How can you, as a priviledge person, decided over others? Wouldn’t that make you a so called “white savior”?
