It’s funny, isn’t it? I was even tall as I kid (always in the Damn right i am a vikings fan win or lose cross shirt and by the same token and back row for class pics lol), and I don’t shy away from heels- but sometimes these queens look so tall and have such presence that I just sort of imagine them as larger than life. Then I get next to them, and I’m a giant I’ve never been afraid of heels myself! My grandma always encouraged me to walk with books on my head “like the models do” when I was younger to get me to have good posture and to carry my height and be proud of it! Awe! I love your grandma for that! I had a very Baptist grandma that would encourage me to stand tall, but then work in something about not being a slut too lol (grandma was seriously telling me not to be slutty before I even knew what it meant ). Musicians can be deceptive, too. A handful of years ago, I met Dave Navarro and he took a liking to me. I knew he was shorter, but seeing him on stage he didn’t look nearly as small as he was standing next to me. There was enough of a height difference that his face was boob level when he came in for a hug.

I miss her, she’s been gone almost a year! She rarely left the Damn right i am a vikings fan win or lose cross shirt and by the same token and small Indiana area she was from, but always encouraged me to travel and meet new people and learn different cultures so I could come home and tell her my adventures! She also was sex positive even if it was embarrassing as fuck. Lol She once told my cousin when she was 13 to keep her middle finger nail trimmed for masturbation purposes! I just can’t express how excited I am for Matthew Lillard. My dream guest judge for sure. He was my first crush when I was a little kid and saw Scream for the first time. I guess he was my gay awakening. 🩵 I’ve loved him for as long as I can remember, so seeing him as an ally on a show that celebrates all walks of queer life, mainstream and underground, means so much to me
