Prescott continued to excel in the following seasons. In 2018, he led the Cowboys to a 10-6 record and another NFC East division title. However, he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 17. In 2019, Prescott returned from injury and threw for a career-high 4,902 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also led the Cowboys to a 12-4 record and the NFC East division championship for the third time in his career.

Prescott’s contract with the Cowboys expired in 2020, and he signed a four-year, $160 million extension with the team. He is expected to continue to be the Cowboys’ starting quarterback for years to come. At just 28 years old, Prescott has already established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
