I used to travel daily in first class and on that day had to wear a shitty t-shirt (made by company hr) for my company’s annual event. Don’t lose heart. Almost everyone has gone through this, including me. Scale up your attire, buy nice fragrance as it will boost your mood and lift your spirits. Once you feel confident and good from within, it will reflect on your personality. No offence meant to you or anyone… This one time I was at a mall, wearing some vertically striped shirt and blue jeans, and I wanted to go to the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this restroom, on the way in this security guy said “hello!” I ignored him first, then the voice came again, clearly pointed at me, I turned around and he said this is only for customers, employees can go to the other restroom . I told him I was a customer and he didn’t seem to believe me :’) I walked in anyways xD The problem is that people have an associated image with each kind of job. Once i was standing in a restaurant in my track pants and Tees, and a guy asked for the sauce. I gladly got a sauce bottle and handed it to him. Thats it, its nothing much to sweat about it.
Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt description
Kiddo, itna nahin sochte, I am general caste, fair enough color and still when I was serving tea at home the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this guest asked my dad “aacha naya ladka (servent) rakh liya hai, than they turned to me and asked “beta tumhara koi bhai wagerah kaam dekh raha ho to batana humein bhi naukar chahiye” My father “ he he he nahin bhai sahab ye humara chota beta (more like spare part isko hum aaise hi rakhte hain.) Once I was in a sports shop shopping for myself. A lady of my age ( then 30) came to me and asked me if the store has a certain sport equipment. I guided her to that section .. she realised the blunder and was embarrassed and walked away. Yes, I was reflecting on what happened. And I said to myself .. I was mistaken for the smart and well built sporting goods sales guy. I have seen other people do this to others and am eternally scared of ever doing the same. My trick- ask anyone i see… “koi attendent hai? sir/ma’am”
I have done this to people randomly standing in stores but it was never about how they looked. I just assumed because they were standing idle, looking lost or bored that they probably worked there. Needless to say, it was embarrassing for both parties involved. Now I’m very careful and always look for a sign that they actually work there. As in their uniforms or I wait for them to approach me. Once I was sitting in my car in the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this drivers seat, waiting for my parents to come . My hand was outside the window and I was singing something. A lady came and asked market jaana hai, chaloge kya? This was pre Uber era . I told her it’s my private vehicle, she was embarrassed and went her way. I once wore yellow t-shirt at IKEA and red t-shirt at reliance. I realised these stores are quite understaffed because people were all over me. They must mention the dress code at entrance I think. There must be a list somewhere.

Let buy this Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt
Maybe I am desensitized, but I have been asked to clean a car, take orders, and even received unprompted tips. I prefer to move on because it’s worthless to get into an argument to prove I am not that guy. Getting offended by something said by someone who is not part of my life means squat! I get that – mf people are very presumptuous. I am sorry you had to go through that. However do try to see if people are doing it on purpose or not. People can genuinely mistake and I have had and done to others similar incident before as well. I never meant to and felt bad too. Once I was standing outside Shahrukh Khan’s house (using it as a landmark to coordinate with a friend). Suddenly someone came up to me and asked for my autograph. As a kid, when I was introduced to chinese food for the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this first time, my parents would always take me to the nearby chinese thela. And as a childhood habit, after finishing the food, I picked up my plate along with my parents, and kept it near the place where they washed it. While returning, some guy asked me to keep his plate as well, so I picked it up, kept it near the washing area while my parents were paying the money, and I walked away with them embarrassed without looking back.
I used to go shopping alone as a kid at a grocery store near my home (10-12 y.o). I remember an aunty calling me and asking me what the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this price of some item was. I told her the price and told her that I don’t work there. She instantly was so apologetic and everything. Most of the times, people don’t think about all this. They just want to get their work done. I know it can make you feel bad, but don’t fret. I don’t think anybody would go out of their way to make you feel like that. Once when I was coming from school my building’s new guard ran towards me and said “Entry to karwalo, kaha jana hai” (entry is for visitors/ delivery persons) I said that mai ghar ja raha hu and then he walked away. Felt kinda bad. Another time someone approached me at a clothing store asking me to get them the size of jeans they were looking for.
The list is endless man. Understandably, you feel horrible. What I wear and how I style myself in certain settings have helped me to not look like the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this “staff” and these incidents don’t happen with me anymore. Hope you find your own thing that helps you out – maybe sometimes take it in your stride and use humour to counter an embarrassing situation. When I was in about 9th-10th Standard I went to a grocery store. My colour was quite dark then because of all the playing in the summers. An uncle came me to and asked for the price of a product. I was like I don’t know, I don’t work here and ran to my father. It brought my confidence down for sure. Spent the next 3 years not talking to any girls because of low confidence.
One day when went to eat outside one uncle thought I was waiter because I was in short so he asked “roti milega kya” This has happened to many of us. It’s inherent bias and is rampant everywhere. You should have answered “Aap mera room pehle saaf karo phir mai kar doonga” It happens. Next time dress nicely. People have often considered me a salesman at cloth store. Don’t think too much. OP easy lo, one thing I’ve noticed a lot is we always try to get even and when we can’t we just get resigned to hating ourselves. Get ahead, not even. Always knows you’re better than close minded people and make sure NOT to do the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this same thing to others as has been done to you. If you ever need someone to talk to, I’m a DM away.
Thats why when i have to fix my bike, i wear good clothes (my mech is usually fully loaded, hence i goto his shop, borrow his tools and advice ,and then fix the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this problem myself) I was mistaken for being a waiter in a hotel and also in a marriage function some old uncle thought I was part of the catering team! It was funny and embarrassing at the same time but I didn’t overthink much about it! I moved on because it’s a third party perception and it shouldn’t bother you what an unknown person thinks about you!! Bro, I was properly dressed, wearing a nice looking helmet and had a camera mounted on to it and I was also wearing riding gloves. I was waiting at the side of the road when 2 dudes came, took a very careful look at me and asked “Rapido?”.. I just shook my head and they said ah ok and continued looking around for their ride. I went to Fab India store in CP, Delhi. One uncle asked me to show him some kurtas… I replied “nahi dikhaunga” with some saas and me and my friend started laughing and the uncle realised too.
No need to feel horrible. Smile back with confidence, say to the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this other person that he / she is mistaken, and if possible, help them with the information on where they can find what they are looking for. Don’t unnecessarily bring caste / skin color into the equation. Who knows, this may have been a genuine mistake. I once helped one aunty by scarring a cow away from her because she wanted to walk from that place but that cow was blocking her and she was afraid , it was Sunday morning and we were going to play cricket and I was pretty young , after successfully making the cow go from that place she was really happy and was like yeh aapka gaai hai kya I was like bitch , I am fucking 14 in Mumbai , Mera cow kaise hoga
Bro take these incidents as funny events. When you get old these will be good laughable stories for your grandkids. You just be yourself and don’t care how others look at you. IF YOU LINGER TOO MUCH IN THESE SIMPLE INCIDENTS THEN THATS SOME SERIOUS LOW SELF-ESTEEM U GOT THERE BROTHER. Bhai me ek baar bun butter aur chai order kr rhta tha apne friend ke ssath. Ek ladki apne passenger seat pe hi baithi thi aur price pochi apne orders ka 😂 You can’t change your physical features but you can dress smartly and avoid being misidentified. Need not be branded stuff. But neatly ironed clothes, proper footwear, combed hair. I was once stopped by the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this security guard of my own fucking building as I was coming back from receiving a food order. He asked me kahan jaana hai jiska order hai and I just managed to meekly blurt out “bhaiya yahin rehta hoon”. That shit hurts ngl
I was in a movie theatre wearing black t shirt and blue denims, I was asked to get a couple coke and popcorn. Cherry on the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this top, I was with my friends and waiting to get my coke and popcorn 🫠🫠🫠. My friend bullied me for 1 month straight Once I was in a Bata showroom, and this guy with his girlfriend came and asked me if I could find the bigger size of the shoes in his hand. I smiled and said If I find it, I will keep it. By then his gf figured it out and apologized. hardware shop gaya tha, kisi uncle ko lambisi wire mesh leni thi, dono ki conversation shuru hui ke ha 3ft chaudi hai vagera fir bataya ki bhai mai yha kaam nhi karta, customer hu The society is full of stupid people. I went on a cruise ship with my family and when I was at the deck, one white random Aussie asked me if i can get him a beer…I ignored him and gave him a death stare..he realised his folly and apologied.I realised most of the cruise ship workers were Indians and looked like me..just ignore such stupid people and move on with your life
Arey bhai, jab me school me tha aur hum color-color khelte te, toh jab black/brown color hota ta, toh sare boys/girls mujhe aur mere ek south indian friend ko touch karte the, tab toh chote toh kuch samaj nai aya, ab bade hoke pata chala ki kya hota hai uska matlab I was wearing a blazer at my friends marriage. I went to the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this dining hall to have dinner but all the seats were full so I was waiting with a bunch of other people. Multiple people who were eating called me and asked me to bring them rice, sambar, rasam, chapathi whatever. First I was trying to be polite and told them I was not with the catering team. But soon it started irritating me and that’s when I noticed the uniform the caterers were wearing and my blazer was of the same colour
It looked like I was the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this supervisor for the catering company happened 8 years ago and haven’t worn that blazer yet Happened quite a few times to me. I’m not going to say it was because I’m dark skinned, as people here seem to think it’s not always the case. However, I will confirm that everytime it happened to me, it was from a person fairer than me. Your vulnerability doesn’t arise from your appearance; rather, it arises from allowing the opinions of others to impact you. But, few people think of themselves as super rich after earning some money. They feel everyone is below them. It is not you but they are the problem. You could say something bad back to them so that they don’t trouble someone else. You will have a little risk but you will also benefit.
hey. sorry you had to go through it. I have been in similar situations. It is natural to feel insulted but we need not. The society has created this false hierarchy where being working class is looked down upon. because there is a false perception that educated are the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this crème of society. I don’t feel bad about it anymore. Because i realised i was playing the falsehood society believes in. I am no longer playing their game. Think of what Ramanujan had to go through, Alan turing as well. we are all equal, working class or not. Yesterday a security guard thought i was delivery boy. I just laughed about it because i was dressing casually and a worst looking bag in my hand. There have been instances when I was asked about price and availability of smaller packts of things in super markets. Went to reliance digital with my brother last year to look for some phone accessories for his trip. He was on the other side and I was on the other. Was wearing formals with a blue shirt and black pants and office shoes as I was returning from the office and asked my brother to tag along and get his trip needs purchased. An aged person probably around late 50s or early 60s asked me for some clarification on a laptop which he’s buying for his son who just passed out btech and so he wanted to gift it to him. Asked everything relevant to it and provided an acer gaming laptop by explaining what it has and how it can increase his son’s productivity along with power for some casual gaming and how it can relieve stress from the work/coding because my brother is a btech student as well. Explained every damn thing like how a processor works and how it has a ssd and how it works and a 3050 gpu and what it does and how his son can use this power for his productivity etc etc. Basically explained every nook and corner of the laptop. He genuinely thought I was the sales guy (well because I haven’t told him that I wasn’t). He wanted to buy that acer laptop and told me to finalize it after almost 30mins of talking and then I told him I wasn’t the one and that I’m a customer myself. He proceeded to ask me why did I do what I did and I told him that the salespersons here would have sold him something worse for more cost but I won’t cuz I know computers and I don’t want him to fall into the predatory hands of a salesman.
He thanked me profusely and even asked me what I did and why I was here. I explained and he wanted to buy an earphone for my brother’s trip and while I thanked him for his offer but I denied seeing he’s already spending so much for his son’s laptop. He thanked me and I even proceeded to call the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this salesman to finalize his purchase for him. I think the salesmen thought I was a salesperson as well seeing how I was wearing the same light blue shirt like most salesmen in there that day and that I was talking for such a long time with one person. I was at a roadside foodstall that sells roasted chicken. Since I was a regular at the stall, I was turning the skewer on the grill and then a worker from the next building comes over and asks me – how much? I motion him to the owner. He looks irritated and then asks the next stall. After paying at the next stall, he shows me the Google Pay receipt for Rs. 100, as if to say – this is what your “foodstall” lost because of your attitude. I just smiled and walked back to my car with the roasted chicken in hand. Mai bhi hotel ke pas ruka tha ..mere ko 5 chai la bola tha…mai Jake 10 me chai kharid ke isko 12 me bech di. 10 rupee kama ke bohot sahi laga. Aur thodi der ruk jata to Bina investment ke 100 rupye ek ghante me kama hi leta ,
Hey don’t feel bad about this incident. Problem is that they assumed that you are one of the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this employees of that hotel,it might also be a genuine mistake. And assumption was from their side, not yours . So you have nothing to be sorry about. Don’t overthink it. You are a survivor bro. I was travelling in Himachal last month and came across some creatures from MP. Their questions within the first five minutes: Bhai meri cousin bhai ki shaadi me ek aunty me mereko waiter samagh ke order Diya tha bhai hota hai soch na nhi jyada. I think it has little to do with you, may be grooming , if people are not aware . A old viral video clip (according to internet time )is floating around in that a tourist saw that a person is being treated superior in the crowd she went and took a picture as she taught he is a famous personality. She had no idea who is that person and said I never saw you anywhere you seem to be famous . He was very polite and after taking few steps it turns out he is the president there .
Politics is power I guess he was not upset as the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this tourist was not aware who he was. This might be exceptional view , it’s like being called uncle by children or young teens when you are 21 and out of shape. Mere se ek baar ek uncleji bole “oye sodda leya sodda”….maine aur restaurant staff dono ne black pehen rakha tha….mera birthday tha yaar. Lamao I’m fair as hell and when I was a kid one aunty told me to bring 2 samosas at a sweet shop these mf are idiots However, one of the positive ways to look at it would be to start something new. Such as gym? Investing in some new clothing? A different grooming style? Either way, the only thing that matters is to be a good hearted person, that which I’m sure you’re plenty already. Wish you all the best! Bro u shud have taken keys from them n sach mai roof saaf kr dete of their belongings. Ya flush krdete unki important dawaiyan. Kuchh toh badia krte. Kya room band krlia.. Chhe. Mujhe milti aisi opportunity – leni deni krdeta. BC ek baar mein pyaaz k thele k paas khada tha to ek pehchan waale uncle aa kar mujhse puchne lage ki pyaaz ka thela kab se lagana shuru kar diya aur kya rupey kilo de rahe ho I was once sent to the deephole of insecurity. I was waiting for a friend on the bike wearing a new raincoat (deliberately bought good quality so that I don’t look like a Zomato guy) A girl came to me asking for her Zomato parcel, I politely said I’m not the one she’s looking for. On the evening of the next day, another girl asked me if I was a bike taxi guy & came to pick her up, that’s when I lost my shit. Said something irrelevant to her. After that I told my friends what happened but they couldn’t take my insecurities away. It goes away with time.
There is nothing to feel horrible about. This is an internalised superiority complex ignorant people have over working class people. We all have it, especially the Dads against weed keeping the neighborhood clean shirt What’s more,I will buy this middle class. Brush it off. People make mistakes. It took me some time to learn that being mistaken for a waiter, and feeling insulted is a more direct insult to the waiter, who has done absolutely nothing wrong. He is working with dignity in the circumstances he is given and providing for himself and his family. We all are working for some corporate bullshit, or some government, we all get shit from work. Different payscale doesn’t change the system we are working under. Let’s think in this way why are you even ashamed of being called a low wage worker? Isn’t this telling about your Hypocrisy about racism.
