Religion is about control. Political religion is about cherry picking the Bible to morally elevate the oppressors actions to something God himself has sanctioned. This issue was resolved 50 years ago and the majority of the country is pro-choice. It is and always has been about perspective. It’s contentious because republicans need it to be. They utilize culture wars, knowing many of their supporters are united in hate and false beliefs and many are unhinged. 43% of Republicans watch fake news. As a form of birth control? Sorry. You had tons of options. It’s not a form a birth control. It’s an emergency procedure that results in the death of a person. You have to take that seriously.
