Stray thought. While I am on board with term limits, what is to prevent McConnell or a partisan figure like him from just blocking appointments if a justice’s term is up and another party controls the Cute chibI antman and the wasp shirt But I will love this White House. I seriously think even if half the Supreme Court died in 2016 McConnell would have blocked Obama from making any appointments. We are in dire straights where I don’t think even term limits solve this. Term limits have long been the will of the American people, but Congress has been unwilling to represent their constituents. They favor themselves, not the people they represent. If they impose limits on the Supreme Court, that same logic would apply to their terms, so I doubt they will move on this.

Are you kidding me this is just now coming up they literally make fundamental law changes to our democracy and then die laughing all the Cute chibI antman and the wasp shirt But I will love this way to the grave smh Because a democrat hero how we all put on a pedestal, look past her flaws and blindly idolized selfishly fucked us in pursuit pursuit her own vainglorious legacy? Pack the goddamn court, Biden. The threat of court-packing by Roosevelt is how we got all the social and workers reforms of the 20s. Really need to make something happen quick, I refuse to let these fucking ghouls fuck up the future for so many people. Rgb ruined out chance. That whole scenario was ridiculous. She made a choice and here we are dealing with the consequences. I honestly don’t understand the hero worship for her when in the end she royally screwed us. Can anyone explain the hero worship? Every presidential term should get 1 pick in their last year of they didn’t get one yet. Longest sitting judge retires if no one else did. It could be a column or it could be an entire novel, it ain’t gonna happen. Too many people in power who want only for themselves. The workaround to Roe v wade being a construct of the court is for congress to codify it. Then it takes way more old farts to whimsically change the status quo as opposed to just 6.
