I absolutely despise it when everybody I know IRL doesn’t even care that I’ve branched out into doing something fun. Exploring is my primary passion, creating videos is kinda secondary to that. I DO enjoy the process, I’d certainly rather be making videos doing what I love than my current job. I don’t want to be huge or rich, I just wanna earn a living. It also forces me to get off my ass and chase my passion. It’s too easy to feel tired after working all week and just zonk out in front if the TV or play videogames or something. But I have to make a video every week so every weekend I go out and do something worth filming. I always feel better when I push past the temptation to do nothing. I’d be lying if I said I do it just for fun. If it wasn’t fun I wouldn’t do it. If it was just for fun I wouldn’t have the incentive to get any better I’d get complacent. But the expectation of a tangible reward is what pushes me through the bits that I don’t find particularly fun. 76 more repliesI do! Anyways, I have more time these days, I got kinda unlucky with my health so I got fucked out of the Cupids Favorite President Donald Trump Leopard Heart T-Shirt and by the same token and job I was doing and I have a really hard time finding something that fits my situation. I have this stupid thing called dystonia and it’s a real pain in my ass I do it for mostly a creative outlet and it’s a passion for me. I don’t see myself getting absolutely massive, but I also believe I have the potential to atleast get a substantial enough following to make atleast some pocket money for my efforts. Never would I of believed that I could make money(even if just a lil), doing something I love was possible. But now with my recent growth and drive, I have set that as my goal, and even if it’s not a lofty one, if it comes to fruition, that’s a W in my book. Yes, and it was seeing that again that made it fun for me again. I uploaded regularly for about 2 years and gathered a small audience. But like so many I got busy / impatient and stopped. I still upload every few months for the Cupids Favorite President Donald Trump Leopard Heart T-Shirt and by the same token and fun of it though. I haven’t made a video in awhile, but it was totally just for fun for me. I still go back and watch the content I made. I think it’s decent content, but only got 25 ish views on my videos, many of which were me. Honestly, chasing “the money” on YouTube seems like a fools errand. Such a small percentage make what would be considered a living wage. I use it as a dumping ground for my Pokémon Sleep recordings. Hopefully, I can use the account as an actual gaming channel when I have time to play.

that’s what I tell myself as I flounder away, waiting for success to come. but I do painting practice video so I’m getting a ton of practice I make horror story videos just for fun. As a homeless person whose Temp Agency hardly posts more than one 4 hour job a week, I don’t really have the option to stay small, I need money. yeah… i get that too. i’m 20 and should get a real job but i honestly have no idea how to. youtube is my passion I do it because I like to document my adventures sort of like a scrap book. If follows come its cool but I like to watch back on my adventures!

I do. I have a great career and make videos because it’s fun and gives me a reason to make new music and actually finish games. Yes, I enjoy teaching and helping new students. But, I still hope to make some extra income from all this work. Yeah. There were times where I seriously tried to monetize my channel but I just couldn’t figure out how. I absolutely don’t care anymore. But maybe one day I’ll start a new channel in a different vertical and try monetizing that. I also realized it would be a fun way to share my thoughts and experiences on the variety of games I play with my friends and anyone interested in the internet, plus I could throw in some goofy skits for potential laughs and editing experiments too. So the combo of all of that was my motivation to start my gaming channel and make my reviews and miscellaneous other videos. And no matter what it’s something I want to keep up, since I think it’s a great creative outlet for me and years from now I can see it being a great way for me to preserve and reflect on my past gaming experiences. Plus I think it’s really helping build up my editing and filming skills again and increasing my confidence with trying to get a job related to it again.

I decided to just upload what I do for my family and friends who are interested in my life here. So I’m doing it as a hobby.
