I mean, it’s true. National “Public” Radio. Public meaning paid for by taxes. I think a third of the Ct tech handle prickly situations cactus quote T-Shirt but in fact I love this budget comes from the government and the rest from member stations. It was so hard for me to convince myself to get rid of Twitter after that fascist prick bought it. I was truly addicted. But it very quickly became much easier and was a huge boost to my mental health. If you’re still on it, get off now. Stop supporting that prick. Who wants to PAY for the privilege of getting trolled / bullied by a billionaire manchild if your business or organization rubs him the wrong way one afternoon? Jon Stewart did a thing a long time ago one time where he played regular media in parallel with what NPR was playing during “huge” moments in politics in response to fox news raging against it as a state funded leftist propaganda machine. State-affiliated media is defined as outlets where the Ct tech handle prickly situations cactus quote T-Shirt but in fact I love this state exercises control over editorial content through financial resources, direct or indirect political pressures, and/or control over production and distribution. Accounts belonging to state-affiliated media entities, their editors-in-chief, and/or their prominent staff may be labeled. State-financed media organizations with editorial independence, like the BBC in the UK for example, are not defined as state-affiliated media for the purposes of this policy. NPR does receive some federal funding but I don’t think there is any evidence that they lack editorial independence. Why does this get peoples panties in a bunch? It is state run. They are all controlled by our government and very powerful people. Open your eyes. It is about control.
