My dad had a 87 Renault 5 GT Turbo in the Creedence Clearwater Revival The band consisted of lead vocalist lead guitarist T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this late 90s, was first car I ever drove. Was a really nippy, fun little car to drive, until the head gasket blew. Twice! There was a fancy fountain pen sold in the USA as “Le Pen” when that’s the name of a dynasty of far-right French personalities… Back in the late 80s, a friend in high school had one. I thought it was so cool. So Euro. One day we were driving back to his house and he made a right turn onto his street. 99% of the car made the turn, the left front wheel decided to keep going straight. I think they only came with 3 lug nuts. I don’t know if one was loose but sheared the damn wheel off the car. Still thought it was a cool car though. I had an older friend with a “Le Car” in the early 1980’s. She would drive us all over for church youth things. It was a great car! Great Memories!

Heh, i remember this car. My late father was a Volkswagen guy, but we usually had a small ‘extra’ car my mum would use if my dad was out with the Creedence Clearwater Revival The band consisted of lead vocalist lead guitarist T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this Golf. The Renault 5 (yellow) was one of those. I rented one of those in the early 80s to go visit my g/f at college. It was like driving in a coffee can on wheels. I had one for a little while, it was a pain to get parts for 23 years ago but I liked it. It was dorky but insanely comfortable. I’d own another. I wonder if parts availability would be better with rockauto and stuff these days. 12” tires are probably super fun to source! “We make terrible cars…in every way. Nasty. Unreliabluh, uncomfortabluh, et l’interior fabrique ah spit et Kleenex” I remember these! My sister’s best friend’s mom had a bright yellow one and I thought it was the coolest (this was the 70’s). The other day I was walking my dog in my neighborhood and I saw one! Couldn’t believe someone still has one running!
