You don’t ever need to drink if you don’t want to. Everyone is different but I’ll say my life is vastly different now in my 30s not drinking very often compared to early 20s where we’d be planning events around it. Yes, it is a good idea to not start drinking, especially at your age. If you don’t want to drink, do not do it, and don’t let anyone pressure you into it.
