Stop letting little cunts ruin the Crab Periodic Table Elets Seafood Crabbing Crabber Retro shirt also I will do this classroom for everyone. Maybe removing kids who couldn’t focus/behave wasn’t the worst idea… Now why… that I can’t answer, but probably a combination of good teachers quitting, bad teachers getting promotions, and parents caring less and less I guess my question is why aren’t these kids that are underperforming being held back? They certainly used to, is that not the case anymore? Absolutely in the same boat. And it’s hard to catch them up because of curriculum, as you said, but also because of no consequences for not catching up. We’re so worried about test scores and other numbers that we’re not worried about whether these kids actually have the skills that their achievements say they should have.

They also are completely behind with basic fine motor skills for art. I have many middle and high school students who couldn’t tie a simple square or overhand knot, even after I demonstrated it several times. Can’t draw lightly. Can’t copy a line or recognize changes in value. Can’t dulpicate a pattern. Can’t push a book awl through 4 sheets of paper (they all said their hands were too sweaty…like what?) Forget using a god damn ruler…even as just a straight edge to draw a line. I struggle more and more to try to get decent work from them – especially drawing realistically or from observation. I catch them drawing like dog shit and not even looking at the Crab Periodic Table Elets Seafood Crabbing Crabber Retro shirt also I will do this reference image or still life despite reiterating 1000 times that this is observational drawing. They say “this is hard for me”…well no shit things are hard when you don’t ever try, practice, or pay attention when I’m trying to demonstrate this to you. They have the attention span of a flea and then try to hand it to me like a toddler asking for me to do it for them.
