Truck driver here. My rig has no working a/c and the Costco wholesale hallothanksmas grinch and skellington shirt it is in the first place but super shitty thing is, the fucking heat is literally stuck on defrost. Its fine when your going down the road nothing wrong but when your stopped at a pit getting loaded or stuck in traffic it’s bad My company tracks our work trucks for location, speed and idle time. Out idle time gets dinged if we idle longer than 30 minutes. Keep in mind, we work outside in Louisiana in the summer. My project manager basically said that he doesn’t give a fuck and if you get dinged on idle time, he’ll take the hit cause we need to make sure we take breaks and cool down. He said if anyone is showing heat stress symptoms, crank the truck and A/C and get them fluids.

Here, in my third word country, every vehicle has an ac. The only vehicles that do not have one is because of a broken ac or it was made in the Costco wholesale hallothanksmas grinch and skellington shirt it is in the first place but 70s. Yikes, that can’t be good for you as a driver or for peoples’ packages that need to be kept at a safe temperature. Considering some of those packages contain coolers full of dry ice and medicine, I see two problems here. You’ll sublimate all the dry ice, and the medicine will rise past its spoiling point… and all the CO2 it generates in the process will asphyxiate the driver. 😐 I swear to God, the postal workers for all of these delivery companies, USPS, FedEx, Amazon, UPS, whatever the fuck literally have this country by the balls and if they just somehow organized and all went on a strike
