I Captain a yacht! We get no down time and can’t work from home! Actually most professionals don’t have time to bullshit like a desk job! I understand for others it is often the Coolest Pumpkin In The Patch Halloween Germany Glasses T-Shirt also I will do this case but I feel the headline calling me out is incorrect. I can’t bring the materials home, I don’t have the equipment I need to do my work at home, and even when I am working with data. It can be terabytes of data that can be slow to download over VPN. I disagree. I work in the insurance industry as a broker/agent and the companies that I work with, that still have their employees working remotely are by FAR the furthest behind with the worst broker service. In my opinion everyone needs to hire another 15% more staff across the board. Service levels are horrible. God some of y these jobs sound amazing. I’m a therapist in a community mental health center and I see clients back to back all day. Granted I work from home if I feel like it and do telehealth appts over Zoom but I literally have NO downtime at work. Zip. I’m either seeing clients or doing treatment plans/progress notes. I answer emails and phone calls at night.

Honestly though the Coolest Pumpkin In The Patch Halloween Germany Glasses T-Shirt also I will do this reddit echo chamber just repeats the same thing and seem to act that everyone can work at home and the only people not wanting to are power mongering business owners but that’s far from the truth and a far amount of people like the separation of work and hone and having to go to somewhere as they cannot concentrate or work as well at home As someone who has an industry oriented job I have no concept of understanding working from home. I went to work every single day I needed to. However if I did have the option I’d much rather come to work and be paid for 12 hours of doing nothing than scrutinized or have to show proof of doing anything within 12 hours of time. Working from home has objective benefits that help everyone, but that’s not good for those profiting off the old status, lazy people here are just helping them have more excuses.
